Coral Reefs

Coral reefs are underwater structures made from calcium carbonate secreted by corals. These are tiny animals called polyps which have hard bodies which support and protect their bodies Coral Reefs are sometimes referred to as the "rainforests of the sea", because they contain the most diverse ecosystems on Earth.. Our set of Coral Reef patterns are based on photographs which depict a wide array of coral reef structures arranged in convoluted, intricate, and colorful designs.

Cows are animals that are raised for beef and dairy products, and also used as a power source for pulling carts. They also provide leather for many products, and dung for manure and fuel. In some cultures cows are considered sacred. There are many words used to describe cows depending on their sex and age: maverick, heifer, calf, steer, bull, springer, and freemartin. Groups of cows are called cattle. Our patterns of cows depict them in an illustrated and humorous form with varying colors, enlarged utters, and adorned with flowers and cowbells. You'll find our cows enjoying themselves on tractors, pretending to be super-cow, being lovesick, dancing, and gazing at a flying bee!

Daffodils are part of a larger family of spring plants known as Narcissus which have over 150 documented species. These plants have six petal-like tepals along with a cup or trumpet-shaped corona. You can find daffodils in just a few colors including white, yellow, orange, and pink. Also the tepals and corona can be in the same or contrasting colors. Daffodils are grown from bulbs which have a life of about 4 years. They bloom in the early spring and are a popular choice in many gardens and in cut flower arrangements. Our Daffodils pattern set contains many patterns created from natural photographs of daffodils individually and grouped, against blue skies and grassy fields. Many of the daffodils are photographed close up to show incredible detail in their shapes and coloring.

As a court painter to the Spanish King Philip IV in 17th century Spain, Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez (more commonly referred to as Diego Velázquez) was the leading Spanish artist of his time. His modern and realistic portraits of the royal family, European figures, as well as commoners, served as a major influence for many prominent painters in future years including Picasso, Dali, Bacon, and Manet. Domenico Ghirlandaio - Florentine Painter

Domenico Ghirlandaio (1449 - 1494) was an Italian Renaissance painter from Florence who used a grand and decorous style to depict figures with realistic shading and dimensionality. Dragons are often depicted with the ability to emit fire from their mouths and also the ability to fly. Dragons can have 2 or four legs, are sometimes given a poison secreting quality and have supernatural and devilish qualities.
