Poses of Roses

A rose is a perennial flower or shrub that comes in many species and colors. There is also a range of sizes for roses from miniature roses to climbers that reach over 15 feet. They are characterized with a delightful fragrance, a set of colorful oval leaves, and a prickly stem. There is an edible side to roses: they have edible fruit, rose oil is used for cooking, rose hips are used for jellies and jams, and rose syrup is used for scones and marshmallows. Our set of Rose patterns contains many images of colored roses, many taken from a macro camera lens in various close up positions. You'll also find gorgeous pictures of roses in vases as well as in the garden.

Candles

Candles are blocks of wax with an embedded wick. The wick is lit which allows the candle to become ignited and provide light and heat. Once lit, the flame provides sufficient heat to keep the candle burning. Historically candles were also used as a method of keeping time. The wick greatly influences how the candle burns depending on the wick’s diameter, stiffness, fire resistance, and tethering. Candles can be held in various devices to position and carry them. Our candle patterns as based on photographs of various uses of candles – providing romantic settings, on birthday cakes, and in religious/holiday services. You’ll find patterns with detailed flames, glowing hands and faces, and smoke.

Blue Skies

As the lyrics imply, our Blue Skies pattern set showcases a wonderful set of natural photographs, highlighting the beauty of the sun, clouds, and sky. Get out your blue hues - azure, cobalt, cerulean, denim, Persian, cornflower, ultramarine, and even a touch of periwinkle, when coloring this set. Within these 21 stunning patterns, you find skies backdropping oceans, rocky beaches, the Manhattan skyline, leafs filled with dew, wheat seeds, sand dunes, and dead trees.

Hot Air Ballooning

For hundreds of years, man has experienced flight in hot air balloons. The bag of the balloon, referred to as an envelope, is filled with heated air. The gondola (typically made with wicker or rattan) below contains both the source of the heat and the passengers. Propane is generally used as the fuel for the burner. It is said that ballooning is like a magic carpet ride or riding on a cloud. Our SegPlayPC collection of hot air ballooning patterns contains over 20 colorful images of balloons in flight. Against blue skies and clouds, and over various picturesque landscapes, these balloons are stylized with geometric shapes in a rainbow of colors. You'll find an alien shaped balloon, a balloon with a clown face, and another decorated in American red white and blue. There are also a few patterns showing the inside of hot air balloons and a few showing balloons over and reflecting in water.

Halloween Spirit

Birds of a Feather

Birds are amazing lightweight, winged animals that lay eggs and fly. Their characteristic features include feathers, beaks, and strong skeletons. Their colored feathers provide a number of important features including flight, insulation, camouflage, and signaling to others. The arrangement and appearance of feathers on the body, is referred to as plumage. In our carefully selected set of bird themed patterns, you'll find an assortment of many species, colors and sizes. Tulipmania

Tulips are perennial plants with colorful flowers that are grown in gardens or potted plants, and displayed as fresh cut flowers. Tulips have bulbs which are short stems with a leaf base which serves as a food storage area. Their large attractive flowers are comprised of three petals and three sepals, which are often referred to as six tepals. You can find tulips in many colors, except for pure blue. Our set of tulip patterns were created from a great set of photographs and depict tulips from many angles. Close up and macro photography was used to capture the finest details of these springtime flowers.

Horsing Around

Horses have long been the most important economically domesticated animals, but that distinction has declined with the rise of industrial and mechanized societies. Today horses are kept for mostly leisure activities including riding, racing, and just being large pets. We've put together a great artistic collection of 23 Horse patterns showing these equestrian creatures in numerous positions, gaits, and scenic backdrops. These patterns show horses in: a few racing scenes, riding into the sunset, smiling for the camera, grazing in the grass, standing at the fence, and walking on the beach.

James McNeill Whistler - Art for Art's Sake
