Birds of a Feather

Birds are amazing lightweight, winged animals that lay eggs and fly. Their characteristic features include feathers, beaks, and strong skeletons. Their colored feathers provide a number of important features including flight, insulation, camouflage, and signaling to others. The arrangement and appearance of feathers on the body, is referred to as plumage. In our carefully selected set of bird themed patterns, you'll find an assortment of many species, colors and sizes. There are owls, eagles, seagulls, toucans, sparrows, finches, pigeons, pelicans, blackbirds, warblers, hummingbirds, and godwits.

Sandro Botticelli - Florentine Artist

Sandro Botticelli (1445 - 1510) was an Italian painter of the Florentine school during the early part of the Renaissance. Several of his works are considered to be among the most recognized masterpieces of florentine art. He developed a highly personalized style taking the linear approach to new levels of sophistication. He spent almost all of his life working for the influential families of Florence, in particular the Medici family for whom he mostly painted portraits. Our set of patterns includes his most important works including the Adoration of the Magi, The Birth of Venus, Venus and Mars, Primavera,Portrait of a Man with a Medal, The Return of Judith, Portait of a Young Man, and The Annunciation. There are also many portraits, and several of his "Madonna and Child" paintings he completed late in his life.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec - French Post-Impressionist

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a French painter in the late nineteenth century who observed and captured in his works, the Parisian nightlife of the period. His favorite scenes included circuses, nightclubs, brothels, and racetracks. Short in stature and having a propensity to drinking, Henri made the most of his short life and is most remembered for his Moulin Rouge themed paintings and posters. Our SegPlayPC collection has a broad selection of Toulouse-Lautrec's artwork including The Toilette, Justine Dieuhl, Moulin Rouge: La Goulue, La Goulue Arriving at the Moulin Rouge, Two Women Waltzing, Yvette Guilbert, The Medical Inspection, and Ambassadeurs: Aristide Bruant.

Valentine's Day is celebrated around the world on February 14th. It’s a magical day where lovers express their love for one another in many traditional and untraditional ways. In today's time, candy, chocolates, flowers, and heart filled cards are usually given as gifts in many cultures around the globe. Berthe Morisot - Female Impressionist

Berthe Morisot was a 19th century French painter in a talented group known as the Impressionists. She had a close acquaintance with Édouard Manet, another well-known impressionist painter, and married his brother, Eugene. Their daughter, Julie, became the subject of many of Berthe's paintings. Probably because she was female, her work was undervalued for over a century. She is now considered among the most elite of the impressionists. Our SegPlayPC set contains 30 of her best works, which demonstrate her focus on the intimacy of family and domestic life. Flamingos are the gregarious wading birds which symbolize the tropical world. These birds are characterized with long thin legs, webbed feet, a plump midsection, downward oriented beak, and of course a marvelous pink tint throughout their bodies. Edward Bannister - African American Artist

Release Date: 2008-12-20

Edward M. Bannister (1828 - 1901) was an African American artist in the late 19th century whose works focused on landscapes and seascapes, with an emphasis on pastoral subject matter. Although well known in his adopted home of Providence, Rhode Island, his talents were forgotten for over a century due to among other reasons, racial prejudice. We've pulled together a large collection of his works in this pattern set. There are some of his more recognized works included (Driving Home the Cows, The Doryman, Approaching Storm, Sabin Point). There are also many other examples of his landscape works, and also some still lifes, and a few portraits.

Coffee Break

Coffee is a widely consumed beverage prepared from beans of the coffee plant. The beans are generally roasted and stored. When coffee is prepared, the beans are ground and then brewed which means that water is passed over the grounds absorbing their flavor. Our set of coffee patterns is based on a fun set of coffee-related illustrations which show people drinking coffee, as well as coffee machines, and coffee pitchers and cups.

Hans Holbein the Younger - German Portraitist

Hans Holbein the Younger (1497 - 1543) was a German born painter who is considered one of the finest portraitists in the Early Modern Period. As a court painter for Henry VIII, Hans drew many portraits of both Henry VIII, and the extended royal family. He is also known for painting many richly colored religious works in the late Gothic style. Our large collection of Hans Holbein the Younger patterns includes several portraits of Henry VIII, as well as those of Erasmus, Jane Seymour, Boniface Amerbach, Thomas Chromwell, Christina of Denmark, Jan Small, Anne of Cleves, and Sir Thomas More. There are also several religious patterns including The Last Supper and Adam and Eve, and a self-portrait.
