You’ve seen these types of artwork before – a painting, photo or other image is divided into rectangular sections, and each rectangle is replaced by another image whose primary color matches the section being replaced.

The process is applied to every rectangle in the original picture. The result: you see the collection of new images when examining the picture up-close, yet from a distance it resembles the original piece of art.

Because of their resolution, it isn’t necessary to view them at poster size to get the full visual effect…yet we’ve also made it possible to easily recognize the individual tiles.
