This one was done using the leaf texture provided in SegPlayPC™. There are over 20 textures provided in the product which can be applied in varying degrees of transparency allowing for very creative painting effects. A texture can also be applied to the canvas.

Here's one that highlights a few important features in SegPlayPC™. First, notice that the user mode is set to hint mode. This allows for only the numbers of the currently selected palette color to be shown, which makes the painting go a bit easier (its a great feature for younger children!).
Second, notice that both the font size and color used to draw the numbers, and the line color have been customized for the user's preference. Third, see how the transparency of the original Mona Lisa image is adjusted so that it bleeds through just a bit onto the canvas. It provides another great hint when doing the painting, particularly when painting in the free color mode (where any color can be chosen to paint a piece).

Users can freely download the program as shareware—with a limited number of patterns, textures, and features—on a ten-day trial. The program can then be upgraded to the full version by puchasing SegPlayPC™ and soon to be added additional content at our Kagi store.
