SegPlay™ Help
Here are some troubleshooting steps if you are having troubles using SegPlay™:
- SegPlay is a Java applet and does not require any additional plugins (once Java is installed). You can install Java from Sun's java.com site.
- Your web browser needs to be enabled to support Java. Test that Java works with your browser by running this bubble
simulation. If you see bubbles rising, then your browser is correctly configured to support Java.
- Check your browsers Security or Advanced Options for any switches that might prevent Java from working.
- See if you can open the SegPlay window directly by opening: http://www.segmation.com/SegPlayLaunch.asp?cat=abs01
- Some "lite" browsers may not have full Java support. You may need to install a full working version of your browser to get Java support.
- For Microsoft browsers check http://www.microsoft.com/java for more information on using Java.
- Uses on Microsoft XP may need to install the Java plugin which can be found here.
- Turn off any popup blocking software. The SegPlay window might be confused as a pop up advertisement. For example, Norton Internet Security has been known to prevent SegPlay from starting.
- If you we using SegPlay a day or too ago and now it's stopped working, try emptying your browser's cache by deleting all temporary Internet files and then restarting your computer.
